The Thorverton Arms is the main place to eat in Thorverton. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. We read on Trip Advisor that the staff was not friendly with non-locals. For us we had the complete opposition experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks came out fast.
The Thorverton Arms had three beers on cask and few beers of tap. I had a pint of the Otter Amber (cask), the Tribute Pale Ale (cask) and the Carlsberg Lager (draft). The food was much better than I expected. They had their main menu and specials for the day. The food was very fresh and the portions were huge. As the only place to sit down and eat in Thorverton, the Thorverton Arms does a great job and I highly recommend it.
